What is the job role?

We are looking to recruit a Social Woker to support Adoption on a casual contract basis.


As an Adoption Social Worker you will support and assist with the completion of life story books, later in life letters, child's permanency reports.

You will also be required to offer advice and support to colleagues across children's services in regard to Adoption care planning.


This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

You will be a motivated individual, with recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and Social Work England registration who is passionate about achieving permanency for our children in a timely way.


You will be able to work closely with families, children and colleagues across children's services as well on your own.
