Due to expansion, Mikhail Hotels and Leisure Group require an Accounts Assistant to join our accounts team, based in Liverpool.


The main duties of the Accounts Assistant will include matching and coding invoices, preparing, and running BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements and reporting key information to the finance and management team.


You will be working within a small accounts team, and you will be required to work as part of the team and take responsibility for your workload and time management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Matching, checking, and coding invoices.
  • Preparing payments runs for the Finance Director to authorise.
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Managing petty cash and company credit card reconciliations
  • Data entry into Xero Accounts Software
  • Reconciling Bank Statements
  • Bookkeeping experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Works well within a team but selfdisciplined enough to manage their workload
  • Experience in Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software preferred but not essential

The Package:

  • Full time position
  • 28 Days per year including Bank Holidays
  • Competitive Salary based on experience.

Salary:
From £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
