We offer full time equivalent pay for 20% less hours

Mon-Thu: 30 hours during probation (flexible hours)

Mon-Thu: 24 hours post probation
(In line with our 4-day week pay policy)

Location
Bristol, working from the City to Sea office with 1-day week home-working flexibility by negotiation.

Role Summary


You will be a key part of the City to Sea Development Team delivering transformational projects that promote refill and reuse over single-use.

Your day-to-day will be spent supporting stakeholders from the public and private sectors to develop low impact circular systems such as reusable cup schemes and systems change in retail.

As an active member of the Development team, you will engage and collaborate internally, also representing City to Seas mission and values to external stakeholders.


You will support the development of regional and national projects into uncharted territory whilst also delivering excellent partner and stakeholder communications to hit important landmarks.

Using your coordination and reporting skills against project plans including timelines, risk and budget will be an important aspect of this role.


Main Responsibilities:

Project Coordination

  • Coordination of project requirements in consultation with others
  • Establishing and delivering against key milestones, capacity planning, monitoring and progress reporting
  • Coordinating project logistics and events on the ground for example in Refill Return Cafes or retail partner stores
  • Following the relevant processes to develop the project including, developing the project plan, scoping, goal setting, supplier management, delivery, meetings, project related events, information systems, budgets, reporting, reporting and archiving
  • Managing relationships with project partners, liaising with external stakeholders as required to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Identifying projectlevel risks, escalating risks where required to managers and leaders
  • Coordinating data and evidence relating to projects to identify opportunities and to support evaluation of activities
  • Ensuring work is delivered in line with agreed standards for quality and consistency
  • Maintaining a good level of professional awareness and knowledge of technical and policy developments relevant to the projects

Budget monitoring and reporting

  • Responsible for monitoring project spend to agreed parameters
  • Providing information to assist with financial forecasting, profiling and businesses modelling

Partnership delivery and retention

  • Delivering best practice project partner and stakeholder management with the support of the Project Manager and Head of Development
  • Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to coordinate cross organisational delivery of integrated projects
  • Providing the team with support and insight for problem solving conversations

Reporting

  • Coordinating project evaluation, developing the evaluation framework to communicate our impact
  • Gathering data and evidence to support evaluation and share learnings and achievements across the team
  • Reporting to Project Manager
