Highly hybrid with up to 4 days from home, however you can be flexible to what works for you.

Client Details
The business is an international systems and information company, owned and managed by a large, international group.


They are in central Reading, however they operate in a highly flexible manner, likely being in the office 1 day per week, however it is open and you can use it in a pattern that works for you.

You will report into the FD and work alongside a team of other Accounts Assistants.

Description
The key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will be to:

  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable/Payables on a monthly basis.


 Purchase ledger
  • Raising purchase orders, matching and correctly coding invoices, reconciliation of statements, payments, remittance advice
  • Sales Ledger raising invoices in a timely manner, logging receipts and allocating to the correct project stages
  • Credit card statement collect receipts, ensure they are reconciled and correctly entered in the system; monitor expenditure
  • Ensuring all relevant costs are recharged to the correct projects and stages
  • Weekly CASH and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure all manual fees/rebates are calculated and correctly sent out to each client
  • Month end reconciliations reconciling on a timely basis both the TOD and reconciliations and ensuring all clients have been correctly refunded/all invoices has correctly been billed out
  • Refunds
  • Supplier reconciliation reconciliation of key suppliers and ensuring payment is made on time
  • Aiding the finance team manager where required in assisting with month end processes

Profile


The ideal Accounts Assistant will be someone who is looking to build up their experience in a busy and friendly Finance environment, crucial to this is an ability to
deal with high volumes of data on Excel.


As such, there will be an
Excel test as part of the interview process.

You will be expected to use Pivot Tables, V Look Ups and any more advanced elements to find data and highlight it quickly.
