Your company and role
A well-established independent company in Manchester City Centre is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their Senior Leadership team. The role involves contributing to the firm's growth by handling interesting and intricate work for various industries, including international groups. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while enjoying a flexible work-life balance.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Directly supporting the Audit Partner and collaborating closely with the Senior leadership team.
  • Oversight, mentoring, and support for the audit team.
  • Managing budgets, fees, and WIP.
  • Participating in the recruitment and expansion of the Audit team.
  • Leading a portfolio of clients, with potential to generate new business.
  • Reviewing audit work, resolving issues promptly, and prioritizing client service delivery.
  • Leading internal projects related to regulatory updates and staff training.

Requirements for success

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, a commitment to exceptional client service, and team development.
  • Commercial acumen, ambition, and a drive to grow the firm.
  • RI status is preferred, or a strong desire to achieve it.
  • Proven experience in team recruitment, support, and service delivery to clients.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities to provide comprehensive services to clients.
  • Effective stakeholder management with direct reporting to the Partners.
