Ideally, candidates will have boast experience working as an Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale industrial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to bolster your resume by working on one of the company's flagship projects.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an Electrical Construction Manager to join a fast-paced, challenging, yet growing business. With ambitious growth plans, our client needs hard-working, open-minded individuals to join the team and embark on their journey.

Electrical Construction Manager Responsibilities:

  • Management of all day-to-day site operations
  • Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meetings with subcontractors.
  • Ensure direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours are reported to time administrator for tracking centrally.
  • Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
  • Assistance with the close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the support of the site project manager
  • Ensure your team contributes to the internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report.
  • Review the weekly progress report before it is issued to all stakeholders. Highlight areas not available, delays, design issues and third-party delays.
  • Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
  • Record weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
  • Ensure that there are weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.
  • Develop and implement company procedures with the package managers
Electrical Construction Manager Requirements:
  • A trade background and 3 - 5 years previous experience managing large installation projects and sub-contractors.
  • Proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects
  • Experienced in design and build
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Electrical systems
  • Ability to work well within strict deadlines
