Purpose of the Role:


You will support the HR team, their employees, and their line managers, in the delivery of departmental and organisational objectives, with a primary focus on Employee Relations (ER).


Reporting to the HR Manager, and working closely with the HR Advisors, you will be the first point of contact for HR queries relating to casework.

You will provide sound advice and guidance to employees and line managers, proactively working to resolve concernsraised before they progress to a formal process.


Alongside the Employee Relations focus, this role will support the development and regular review of policies, whilst supporting ongoing and new projects, and the implementation and embedding of a new People Strategy and a new HRIS.

Whilst the role willtake a lead in managing a range of casework independently, a broad understanding of the General HR remit will be necessary to support the department.


Skills & Experience:


Having relevant experience of working in an HR environment is essential along with demonstrable experience of successfully managing Employee Relations casework.

It is also essential to be CIPD Qualified to Level 5 or above, or have equivalent in experience.

This role requires you to be onsite five days per week with flexibility of home working for emergency appointments.
