Manage or achieve multiple aspects of the role, at any one time.

The postholder must contribute to the overarching objectives of the Estates Operations Team. To maintain and develop high quality records for management and staff. Ensuring actions are customer focused and cost effective to meet the Trust's need.

Manage communications appropriately and assertively, to align with Trust policies, expectations, and guidelines.

Taking responsibility for entry into software such as Unit4, MICAD Helpdesk, IPR Compliance.

Ordering for the Fire Safety Team through electronic systems Micad/Unit4, for both supplies and equipment as required

Organise diaries as requested by the Fire Safety Team, ensuring changes are processed in accordance with Trust policy.


Become proficient in implementing Compliance data and the knowledge to ensure accurate expiry dates with notifications to the relevant Senior Estates Officers.

Compliance adhering to the Trusts Risk Assessment and Management Strategy & Policy.

Acquire basic understanding of Departmental Accounting and Budgetary Controls.


The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Allied to this is a growing reputation for research and innovation.

Responsible for the management of the Statutory Compliance Module, against agreed timescales and quality standards. Updating and producing statistical reports for the Estates Senior Management Team.

Collaborate with the Fire Safety Team to provide technical support in healthcare settings to support corporate monthly governance reporting.


Assist with patient care, ensuring a safe and efficient environment by managing the Fire Safety remediation data taken from the large portfolio of Fire Safety Assessment.

Actively contribute to the fully auditable and compliant Fire Safety delivery for the Trust and the RRO.


To provide a front-line service in responding to Human Resources requests for the Estates Operations Team, supporting the Estates Business Manager in centralising this function.

Adhering to the Trusts Code of Conduct for Employees in Respect of Confidentiality, when dealing with Human Resources data.


To provide front line support to the Fire Safety Team using dedicated compliance software, also working with the Estates Business Manager, to ensure a continuity of service.


Working as part of a team covering all aspects of administration and clerical duties, including co-ordinating and administrating Senior Management meetings for the Senior Fire Safety Managers, requiring the ability to manage own workload.

Data may be confidential and sensitive information.

Operating the MICAD Stores Module, to provide support for the Estates Stores.

Use of the Unit4 Business World software, to requisition stock.

To assist the Estates Business Manager with Budget Code Monitoring and reporting on Fire Team Training Expenditure.
