Lead Business Intellegence Consultant - £270pd Inside IR35 - Staffordshire

We are currently looking for a passionate, experienced and motivated Lead PowerBI Consultant to come and join an amazing local authority business based in Staffordshire.

This role will be a key player in their growth plans and changes that are being rolled out across the business.

All candidates will have to have 3+ years' experience leading a team in a Data/ PowerBI driven environment and must be able to commute to the office 5 days a week.

As part of the role you will support the PowerBI, Intelligence and Analysis Lead and Senior managers working across the system to develop and use business intelligence to improve outcomes for people across the country.

The role:

  • Take a lead role in the work of the Intelligence, Performance and Analysis team, working closely with colleagues to deliver against corporate and directorate priorities
  • Lead the processing and submission of the national statistical statutory advising of risks and possible solutions.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders, partners, and other IPET members to ensure a joined-up approach to project and service deliver
  • Be responsible for co-producing the design and implementation of innovative technical solutions for reporting to ensure it is in line with the latest developments in technology

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years' demonstrable experience in Business Intelligence and analysis, ideally utilising products such as PowerBI, and SQL (in a Public Sector environment)
  • Experience leading a team
  • Significant experience in performance and analysis, integrating business intelligence into insights and useable intelligence
  • Extensive knowledge of a range of (outcome-based) performance management assurance and reporting tools and techniques including qualitative and quantitative analysis.
