£32,407 MPS1 to £43,182 MPS6 per year + SEN allowance £2384
As Humanities Teacher (Geography, History, RE) you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do.
You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approachesthat enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met.
You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.
About you:
For this role, we are looking for someone who holds
QTS or QTLS along with experience of teaching Humanities and experience of working with children with
SEND and ASC.
With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively andeffective classroom teaching in an
autism-friendly way, which engages and motivates young people you'll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you'll want to make a difference to the lives and educationof our children and young people.

An independent specialist day school in
North Cheam, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16.
We provide a safe learning environment for pupils living with autism (
ASC), mainly Asperger's Syndrome andhigher functioning autism, who also face other challenges such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (
ADHD), dyslexia and pathological demand avoidance (
PDA).
