My client is one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan, with an established presence across all consumer and corporate banking businesses.

Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, they offer a diverse range of financial services, including commercial banking, leasing, securities, credit card, consumer finance and other services.

You will be joining the team who currently work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and are in their London office - 3 days a week, with the remainder of time working from home.

To provide administrative support for a broad range of OAD / ODED control and governance activities undertaken by the wider OAD Planning team including, but not limited to:
audit and regulatory tasks,
ad hoc statistical analysis,
maintaining key department-wide databases;
prioritisation of IT projects
To provide support for Bank wide projects including Head Office and Compliance activities

All OAD internal and external reporting, management committee paperwork, structure changes within the Department, projects, new initiative change management is controlled by this section.

Single point of contact for internal queries coming into the department for RMD, F&C and Audit. Ensuring risk registers, budget and ACRs are completed for all sections within OAD. Acting as a liaison between Head Office to support OAD/ODED in all aspects of business. Responsible for building and maintaining a robust control and governance framework across OAD / ODED

Administer In Office Inspections in line with Head Office rules. Preparing and distributing management reports to stakeholders throughout the Bank
Weekly reconciliation of OAD's staff management tools including the departmental org chart and call trees
Contributing to the documentation and maintenance of applicable OAD Planning procedures.
Acting as liaison between OAD and IT ensuring testing schedules and development work is prioritised across the department.
Previous experience of working within the financial sector
Analytical skills – Excel proficient (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
Communicating at all levels, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of at least one banking product would be an advantage
Japanese speaker will be preferable
