Our client, a charity based in Coventry
, is looking for a HR Information Systems Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.


The salary for this role is £31,862, and also comes with an excellent benefits package that includes 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and 8% employer pension contributions.


The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, working 37 hours a week with two days a week working from home.


Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Leading on the understanding of HR processes and mapping the HRIS workflows to the processes
  • Designing and delivering a full HR reporting suite to inform HR practice excellent MS excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables and formulas) are a must
  • Leading on the implementation of a new HR system and understanding how the system works with HR processes so that the HR team can deliver an efficient and effective HR service
  • Supporting the business in their understanding of the HR system to maximise the selfservice offering this includes writing guides, training material, and offering guidance to the business
  • Trouble shooting and finding solutions to queries, and identifying ways to improve system processes
  • Optimizing the functionality and performance of the system so that it fits the needs of business users
  • Delivering accurate, timely and userfriendly HR information system reports for the organization

Experience required:

  • Project managed and supported the implementation of different HR modules
  • Design and maintain workflows and other system processes
  • Providing advice and guidance relating to HR system issues
  • Developing and updating HR Policies, Procedures and Guidance
  • Experience of using and supporting a range of Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Managing HR Projects
  • Delivering accurate & timely management information (reports)
  • Effectively working as part of a team

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Demonstrates an ability to teach others how to use various systems effectively
  • Shows an ability to keep up with changing technologies
  • Possesses a strong work ethic for working with confidential information.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills
  • Possesses an analytical mind for understanding how software works and can be made more efficient
  • Able to prioritise work to deliver results when faced with tight deadlines and conflicting tasks
  • Highly Competent with Microsoft suite, in particular; Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook. Must be able to produce Pivot tables, use vlookup and advanced formulas in MS excel.
  • Experienced in Sharepoint
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidences
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team
Able to prioritise work to deliver results when faced with tight deadlines and conflicting tasks

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
