What you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing support to the Lead Administrator and Surrey wide Business Lead for reporting of figures for service KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Creation and management of any necessary spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrate good proofreading skills for reports and letters dictated by the Doctors.
  • Communicating with parents of patients and other organisations involved in the care of patients.
  • Audio/copy typing reports and letters dictated by the Doctors.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Previous typing experience.
  • System knowledge of EMIS. (Desirable)
