Dairsie Autopoint is a family run business, trading for over 50 years. We operate as Fantastic Campervans, a leading leisure vehicle converter in Scotland.

We have a petrol filing station and commercial garage with vehicle sales as well as undertaking servicing, repairs, MOT's and vehicle conversions from two sites.

Campervan Fitter

The fitter will work on all aspects of conversions of vehicles for sale or customer orders with a top-quality finish.

The goal of the job will be to convert a campervan from start to finish.

The role would benefit from someone with a level of practical skill already with an aim to specialise in a field and become proficient in the area.

Once skilled, you will be able to carry out a full range of vehicle conversion tasks.

Although experience is not required as training will be given, a knowledge of caravans or motor homes would be an advantage.

Job Role

• Role Responsibilities:_

To work on all aspects of vehicle conversions including but not limited to:

• Install flooring
• Cutting and installing of interior units
• Fault rectifications
• Installing appliances
• Valeting of completed vehicles
• Habitation checks
• Installing appliances
• Light mechanical, plumbing & electrical work
• Request or order parts as authorised
• Working as Part of a Team
• Report equipment faults and property maintenance if they arise.
• Undertake other duties from time to time to support the business.
• Essential Criteria:_
• High Attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and be willing to learn new skills.
• Ability to problem solve and prioritise workload, working to agreed timescales.
• Individual will require a degree of physical aptitude as the role can include bending and lifting.
• Be able to work as part of an effective team but also be selfmotivated and able to use initiative when required.
• Good DIY skills
• A full clean driving license is essential (a maximum of 3 points will be considered)
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Desirable Criteria:_
• Experience in the Motor / Leisure Vehicle Industry
• Experience in joinery work

Salary:
Starting at £10.90 per hour but we can offer a progressive salary reflecting performance, skill and experience.
