Site Maintenance Operative

Pontefract Salary:
£14 - £16ph Metalis are currently in partnership with a specialist manufacturer based in Pontefract. Our client is looking to hire a maintenance operative on a 12-week temporary to permanent role.

Duties and responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks.
Repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance. (e.g. welders, FLTs & Scissor lifts).
Performing maintenance and repairs to the facilities.
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems

Person Specification:
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing various equipment.
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.
Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming.
Basic electrical knowledge is preferred

Shifts and Salary:
Days regular.
Monday - Friday.
12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
