Heels & Brogues Group are currently working with a very established client in Seaham, who currently require an Yard Person with FLT License to join their team on a Temp to Perm contract.


You will work on an initial 12-week Temporary Contract before moving over to the clients' books on a Permanent basis.

Full training will be given.

Responsibilities:

  • General Duties including gas torch use
  • Logistics
  • Operate the Forklift Truck in a safe and controlled manner
  • Raise any Health & Safety issues/accidents to the Shift Supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Daily, inspect forklift trucks and, if necessary, report any defects found
  • Other duties required by the client

Requirements/Experience:

  • An RTITB or equivalent counterbalance FLT certificate is an essential requirement* (we cannot accept an inhouse license)
  • Previous counterbalance experience
  • Fit & well to work as this is a physically demanding job
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work well within a team as well as independently

Hours & Pay:

Day shift only

£11.26PH
- *You must be able to show proof of your Counterbalance license/certificate*_
