- Provision of reports, advice and assistance to resolve more complex problems involving analysis and interpretation of data/information
- Scheduling, coordinating work of the section on a daily basis
- Provides coaching, training to staff and monitors their progress
- Continually improves methods of working and makes recommendations as appropriate
- Resolves the more complicated Payment, Invoice or Customer service issue
- Deals with external organisation (e.g. HSBC, BACS. HMRC, External Auditors) as/when required.
You should have an in depth procedural knowledge of the company Accounts Payable systems and a working knowledge of the E5 Bank reconciliation, General Ledger and Wayleaves processes however, this is not essential as our priority is looking for the right individual to help organise the team and manage workload.
Comprehensive understanding of the relevant VAT, CIS and HMRC regulations, Company Financial Policies and connected statutory regulations, together with Sarbanes Oxley requirements is preferred.
You should be someone with sound interpersonal skills and the aptitude to communicate with a diverse range of internal and external customers, with the ability to prioritise your own and the teams' work.
