A **dedicated** and enthusiastic **Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant** to join our team at a reputable **Special Needs School** in **Cambridge**.

**About the Job and Company**

Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, your main role is to support students with special educational needs. Your duties include:

  • Collaborating with teachers to meet individual student requirements
  • Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring engagement and understanding
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs
  • Implementing behavior management strategies

About Students: The students have complex needs and/or autism. The school provides education from reception to Year 13.

Qualifications and Experience: To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs
  • Possess excellent communication skills and adaptability to varying student needs
  • Minimum 6 months of Teaching Assistant experience in a UK school (Required)
  • Proficiency in the English Language (Required)
  • Right to Work in the UK
