IKEA Reading are looking to expand our kitchen business and we are on the lookout for Kitchen Planners to join our sales team on a part time basis.

CONTRACT INFORMATION

We have various contract sizes from 12hr to 24hrs per week to cover a variety of shifts this could be from dayshifts, evenings and weekends.

All our part time roles will receive every 4th weekend off. Availability will be discussed at interview as to what contract size would suit you best.

Shifts will be between the hours of 9:30am till 9:30pm with a max of 2 late finishes of 9:30pm per week.

SALARY

39 hours per week - £24,500 per annum - this is based on a full time role all part time roles are on a pro-rata basis.

WHO YOU ARE

You are someone who has a passion for kitchens has attention for detail & is confident in approaching customers and treats them in a polite and friendly manner.

A person who is passionate about actively offering all the services available in the IKEA store to help customers make informed choices, which results in a great shopping experience.

You are open minded & have the ability to problem solve, have a good level of knowledge around IT systems and have experience within sales or customer service.

Kitchen designing/planning is desirable however full training will be given for this role.

• Provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers
• You actively engage with our customers to identify their needs and how to inspire and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings
• Passionate about the range and home furnishings, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design and actively share this with the customer
• Support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop
• Proactively interact with customers & provide excellent 11 customer service for a sustained period of time during the appointments
• Kitchen Planning & Designing for up to 2 hours with an additional 3060 minutes to provide accurate plans, worktop and installation quotations for the customer.
• Calling your future appointments to secure the bookings and providing the customer with insight into how to measure their room and set expectations
• Support the kitchen coworker team with opening and closing routines and general house keeping
