We have been approached by a principal contractor to search for a Contracts Manager to oversee projects mainly within the industrial sector.
Established for over 30 years this regional SME has served clients with integrity and a non-adversarial approach for a sustained period of timeAs Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for up to 3 projects ranging from £250,000 - £5m across the industrial, automotive, education and healthcare sectors.
Your responsibilities will include- Programming,
- Construction Procurement,
- Planning and Site Logistics,
- Health & Safety planning.
- Liaising with Clients, Architects and all Design Team members.
- Collaborating with Architects and Designers Working Drawings, Client Approvals etc.
- Pre-construction interviews.
- Managing and motivating site teams.
- Client Development and liaison.
- You may have a trade or academic background but more importantly know how to build and problem solve.
- At least 5 years' proven experience as a Contracts Manager looking after multiple projects within the industrial sector.
- Suited to working in a non-adversarial and collaborative way.
- The position will suit a meticulous and tenacious personality who has good people skills with excellent communication with your managers and clients alike.
