We require an Automotive Diagnostic Technician of the highest calibre to join our busy Aftersales department at our Volkswagen Dealership in Liverpool. We offer a superb opportunity to the right person who is able to demonstrate a successful track record (ideally within the automotive franchise industry although not necessary as full training will be provided).
Role and Responsibilities:
To undertake Diagnostic Investigation on motor vehicles, mainly Volkswagen ICE, Hybrid and Fully Electric to the highest standard to meet company and franchise requirementsCarry out General repairs and servicing when and if required.
Repair diagnosed vehicles, replace parts, lubricants and consumables where required Record all service and repair operations as required by the company and the manufacturer Work in a safe and professional manor, operating to health and safety standards Identify additional work and maintenance requirements on customer vehicles using an established EVHC processThe ideal candidate will:
Qualified to NVQ level 3 as a basic and have qualifications in Diagnostic proficiency. Have at least 2 years' experience of working in a Franchise Dealership (or similar) The ideal Candidate will be invested in, taking you to Master Technician Qualification. Possess excellent customer service skills Take responsibility for the safety, standard and quantity of their work Hold a full UK driving licenceThe successful applicant will be highly motivated, efficient and organised. This position is within a busy workshop environment, as such, you will be provided with a competitive remuneration package as well as industry-leading product and manufacturer training. This is a full-time position that includes 24 days' annual leave, raising to 25 with longevity of service.
