Job Title: Segment Director for Floating Offshore Wind at DNV

To support DNV's strategic growth in the Floating Offshore Wind sector, the executive committee has decided to hire a Segment Director. This individual will be responsible for driving business operations to meet customer expectations and maximize assurance services within the floating offshore wind market for DNV.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining a go-to-market strategy
  • Securing projects in collaboration with BA's and governance

In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving DNV's global growth in assurance services for the floating offshore wind market segment, reporting to the BA Steering Committee for Floating Offshore Wind. Your mission will involve connecting customers with leading competencies to accelerate in this strategic market. Collaboration with delivery organizations from Business Area Maritime and Renewables Certification is essential, along with building and maintaining a reference portfolio showcasing expertise and experience.

Primary tasks of this role:

  • Drive a business development network across DNV
  • Act as a Change agent to define new value propositions
  • Lead strategic bids and sales activities
  • Support project execution and domain knowledge building
  • Execute governance for sales processes and project execution

About you:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 10 years of relevant experience in the segment domain
  • Strong sales mindset with excellent customer relationship-building skills
  • Effective leadership, relationship-building, and influencing abilities
  • Passion for decarbonization
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and trust-building skills
  • Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to handle work pressure

Location: At any major DNV office globally with proximity to Floating wind stakeholders.
