We are for looking for multiple Senior System Engineers to work on all aspects of the Systems Engineering lifecycle from System Concept through to Delivery and Acceptance.


Job Functions (Essential)nInvolved in all stages of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, including System Concept, Delivery, Acceptance, Bid Support, System Design, Integration, Verification, and Customer Acceptance.nResponsible for specifying, developing, integrating, verifying, and accepting systems for both Internal and External Customers.nAbility to collaborate with individuals from different disciplines, organizations, and nationalities on a daily basis to address the systems engineering aspects of projects.nActively contribute to the definition, realization, and validation of new products, emphasizing innovation and cutting-edge technology.nManage stakeholders throughout the system lifecycle through proactive communication.nCreate technical documentation for both technical and non-technical readership.nRegular travel within the UK and overseas is a standard feature of this role.nAny other tasks associated with this role.


RequirementsnEssentialnExperience in systems design, integration & test.nUnderstanding of Systems and Product lifecycles from concept through to delivery.nFamiliarity with a range of Engineering disciplines (Software, Mechanical, and Electrical).nStrong inter-personal skills with effective communication abilities at all organizational levels.nFlexibility to apply skills and knowledge across different projects and products.nComputer literate with proficient written English for technical proposals, specifications, and reports.


nWillingness to travel (Note:

While the role is based at our Enfield premises, business travel may be required depending on project needs).nDegree (or equivalent) qualified in an engineering or science discipline.


Desirable (Not Essential)nUnderstanding of Radar Systems (desirable, but not essential if other complementary skills are demonstrated).nWhole product lifecycle experience (concept generation, concept demonstration, development, production, and in-service support).nExperience working with and developing systems using communication protocols (e.g., RS485, RS232, TCP-IP, Canbus, etc.).nExperience in product development for Naval Platforms.nExperience working on or with Navigation equipment.nLeadership skills for managing multi-skilled engineering teams.nAbility to deliver engineering packages of work to time, cost, and quality.nMembership in a Professional Engineering Institution (e.g., IMechE, IET, INCOSE).nUK Security clearance.nUK Driving License.


Physical AttributesnAbility to walk meters with a toolkit, possible weight of 10 Kilos.nAbility to climb the equivalent of 10 flights of stairs, potentially followed by 10 meters on a ladder.nAble to work at heights, possibly up to 40 meters.nAbility to harness oneself to the mast and commence service activities.nAbility to work in tight spaces, requiring twisting and maneuvering of the body.
