We are recruiting Early Bird Care Professionals

You do not have to have experience in Domiciliary Care, Residential Care, as a Support Worker in Community (although it would be a bonus) as we provide free, industry leading training and support. Working in retail, hospitality, customer service etc. you will be sure to have transferrable skills perfect for Care Assistant. Home Instead values kind heart and caring nature over experience any day.

We offer: Flexible working schedul e to fit around you and our clients. Paid Induction Training as well as Shadow shifts, 30p per mile & pay rates starting from £12 per hour (enhanced rates on weekends and bank holidays) . Employee discount schemes and referral bonuses. Casual/Smart dress code but no uniforms .

Responsibilities of Care Assistant:

Support clients in their own homes with various task such as personal care, home help, getting out and about, medication, meal preparation, companionship etc. Liaise with families and other professionals in order to provide the best quality homecare. Promote independence and individuality according to each clients Care Plan Record daily tasks and any incidents on Access to Care Planning App Work as part of a team, effectively communicating with Office Team as well as other Care Assistants.

Qualifications

As a Care Assistant you will need:

A willing, positive, compassionate approach to assist and support people within your local community. Access to reliable transport such as car Valid driver's license Be able to make a commitment of a minimum of 10 hours per week including availability on every other weekend Reliability so our clients continue to enjoy continuity of care Be living in or around the Yeovil, Somerset area

Additional Information

Care Assistants generally work between 10 and 20 hours per week, however some Care Professionals do work up to 40 hours per week dependent on their will be supported by our dedicated office team. The role is based at the location of your client's home and essentially involves travelling to and from their address or place of residence so access to a reliable form of transport is essential.
