One of the most recognised and leading Training Providers and currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced ESOL Tutor who is passionate about developing and supporting our ESOL learners to fulfil their potential.

You will support our learners todevelop their knowledge required to pass their ESOL Skills for Life qualification in a timely manner.

The role will be based in the Bristol Training Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review programme activity and standards to ensure funding and Awarding Organisation guidelines are met and comprehensive records of participation and outcomes are kept
  • Ensure all learner records and reporting are kept uptodate and provided in a timely manner to support management reporting and audit requirements
  • Gain learner feedback, through various methods, both whilst the learner is on programme and upon completion of the programme
  • Provide IAG to learners on the requirements of the course, its curriculum and assessment
  • Assist in the recruitment, induction and assessment of learners

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS or equivalent
  • Achieved L2 in English and Maths
  • Experience teaching ESOL/English to a minimum L2 standard
  • Experience of working with adult learners
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Driving licence and access to own car

Desirable

  • An advanced qualification in Literacy or Numeracy
