Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

Our Home - 68 Cannon Street
We are currently a service of three, we are a supported living bungalow located at 68 Cannon Street, Castleford. We all have different likes and dislikes, but we are very fun.

What is important to us

  • It is important to us that we live our doing all the things we ensure in life, and we are supported with choice and control over all aspects of our lives.
  • We are proud of our home; we have the choice of everything that goes through our home
  • The staff make sure we choose who we want to support us that day, and through the week, they tailor activities to us from our support plans because of this we are very independent and confident.
  • We are exceptionally proud of the staff making sure that our home is safe in all areas, so it meets the best standards.
  • We are very proud of ourselves when it comes to the holidays such as Halloween and Christmas, as we DIY décor with staff to make our own kick on things.
  • Making decorations with staff for Christmas and Halloween to make our home look spectacular
  • We love going out with staff on days out, we like to be in the community talking to new people.
  • We love baking everything from buns to cakes to even Christmas cakes.

Our Morning shift starts at 8am until 15:30 pm, Afternoon shift starts at 15:00 until 22:00 pm We also have a sleeping staff that stays in the guest room.
