Academics Ltd, in partnership with an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school, is looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering engaging Drama lessons across KS3 & 4. This role will also involve overseeing school productions and additional tutor responsibilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop lesson plans aligning with the national curriculum and student needs
  • Facilitate workshops, rehearsals, and performances to improve acting abilities
  • Encourage students to explore various theatrical techniques
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize school productions and events

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in teaching Drama or related field
  • Degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or relevant discipline
  • Strong knowledge of drama techniques and theatre practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for inspiring young minds through performing arts
