By utilizing cutting-edge data science technologies within QBE's Cloud Platform, you will collaborate with experts in pricing, data science, insurance underwriting, claims, and information technology. Your role involves developing and implementing top-notch pricing and machine learning models for a significant book of business worth $5 Billion. Your new role:
- Establish strong relationships with Energy & Construction underwriters and key stakeholders
- Enhance Energy & Construction pricing models used by underwriting teams
- Lead pricing for large risks
- Integrate new data science techniques with traditional pricing methods to build a leading team of pricing data science professionals
- Promote a focus on code quality and readability within the team
About you:
- Expertise in property risk and catastrophe modeling
- Strong communication skills
- Keenness to learn new skills
- Experience in commercial insurance, especially in London Markets
- Background in pricing Energy & Construction business
- Interest in modern data science models and techniques
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages
