Annual Salary: £22,000.00

Annual Leave: 6 weeks of paid holiday

Role Requirements:

  • Administrative experience in a school or educational environment is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel is essential.

Purpose of the Role:

  • Collaborate with the administrative team to the best of your abilities.
  • Ensure the efficient and professional operation of the school office.
  • Interact with students, parents, and guardians with empathy and utmost care, prioritizing their needs.
  • Enhance and grow the administrative department by introducing new practices and systems.
  • Provide a welcoming experience for clients either in person or over the phone.
  • Promote the school's ethos and standards, fostering loyalty and dedication to its enhancement.
  • Be open to acquiring new skills and training for the advancement of the administrative department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the head administrator in daily tasks.
  • Maintain the smooth operation of the school office professionally.
  • Prepare the office for daily activities, ensuring its presentation and safety.
  • Administer first aid to students as needed and create a safe and caring environment.
  • Handle various administrative duties like answering calls, filing, letter writing, etc.
  • Be proficient in computer usage and relevant software.
  • Attend courses for skill enhancement when necessary.
  • Contribute to marketing activities and events organization.
  • Approach tasks with positivity, enthusiasm, and optimism.
  • Offer assistance to teachers and guests as required.
  • Provide a warm and professional reception experience for visitors.
  • Focus entirely on client needs when in reception.
  • Contribute to the school's growth and professional development as part of a team.
  • Be friendly and flexible towards students, teachers, and parents.
  • Manage the school's website and social media accounts.
  • Participate in after-school events, some of which may occur in the evening.
  • Provide cover for other administrative staff during holidays.
