This post is based in either Peterborough or Cambridge, but at times will involve travel across Cambridgeshire.
The service is a NICE compliant specialist outpatient service which operates across all four localities within CPFT. The service has undergone an innovative redesign and is embarking on an exciting phase of delivering a high quality service which strives for excellence for its service users. We provide evidence based treatment protocols for clients with moderate to severe personality disorder which cover three main areas of impairment that the illness can present; namely psychological, occupational & social, with a specific focus on managing high chronic risk.
The treatment protocols are based on models of MBT, DBT and the Model of Human Occupation. There is an ethos of compassion for the lived experience of personality disorder and therapeutic optimism for long term recovery that runs throughout. We also offer consultation and training for services, as well as close working with GP's and primary care. We are committed to staff training, service evaluation and research.
Main duties of the jobThis post is part of a leadership and management team that oversees and delivers the clinical, professional, and strategic aims of the service. You'll be joining a supportive leadership team that aims to enable high-quality services, provide development opportunities, and support staff to reach their potential.
