Are you enthusiastic about financial planning and prepared to advance in your career? Look no further, our clients' dynamic Paraplanning team in Edinburgh is seeking a motivated Trainee or experienced Paraplanner.

How You'll Make a Difference:

  • You will offer essential technical support to our advisers, ensuring they deliver significant value to our clients
  • As the key representative of the business, you will create clear and client-focused communications. Your quantitative skills will be evident in tailored Financial Plans
  • You will collect qualitative and quantitative data, utilizing advanced tools, to develop compliant and thorough financial plans
  • Enhance our centralized and cost-effective proposals. Engage in interesting project assignments when required

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client goals by collaborating with advisers
  • Analyze client documentation and meeting summaries to support recommendations
  • Gather essential data for precise financial forecasts
  • Prepare for client meetings, ensuring recommendations match client requirements
  • Coordinate with product providers and external parties
  • Support advisers during client presentations and address technical inquiries

Producing Comprehensive Reports:

  • Draft detailed financial plans following our guidelines
  • Effectively utilize software for precise forecasts
  • Produce refined reports after client planning sessions
  • Stay updated on regulatory modifications and market trends

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Paraplanning experience in a related environment
  • Level 4 Diploma certification or working towards it
  • Proficient in Cashflow modeling software, Intelligent Office, F E Analytics, Select-a-Pension, Dynamic Planner, and various Platform/Provider websites
