**Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant position
**Long Term/Interim, Full-Time Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant role
**Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant role for the academic year
**Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant position starting ASAP
**£85 per day for Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant role

Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant Specification

  • 2:2 degree or higher, Psychology, MFL, English degrees etc
*Having genuine aspirations of wanting to be a Speech and Language Therapist and having a real interest in Linguistics
*Previous child care or school-based experience is an advantage, not essential
*Previous Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant experience an advantage, yet again not essential
*Caring and compassionate nature, someone who can commit for the academic school year

About the Speech and Language Assistant / EAL Assistant Role
*Working 1:1 with pupils with Speech and Language Difficulties
*Or pupils who have recently moved to London
*Small group work as part of a mainstream Primary, Years 1-6
*Providing focused intervention sessions


This Speech and Language Assistant role involve you assisting pupils in and out of class across the entire KS2 phase, running activities for small groups and tutoring some students 1:1.
