Microscopy Manager

Campden BRI provides vital support to the food & beverage sector by identifying foreign objects. As a key member of the team, you will lead the Microscopy division, oversee the development of new services, and manage a dedicated team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and approving reports for client delivery.
  • Supervising staff, offering training, and support.
  • Addressing client inquiries and offering customized quotes.
  • Driving the innovation and expansion of Microscopy services.
  • Conducting detailed microscopic examinations of various materials, including glass, foreign bodies, and food microstructures, and delivering technical reports.
  • Maintaining accurate records of findings and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company management systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microscopy techniques and FT-IR spectroscopy.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
  • Proven ability in managing client expectations and knowledge transfer.
  • Proficiency in laboratory procedures, database usage, and time management.
  • Capability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure while maintaining meticulous records.
