The role is a permanent post, working 37 hours per week:
Monday to Friday.

This job is working from any Flagship Office.

We have offices in the following locations:
Norwich, Melton / Woodbridge, North Walsham & Bury St. Edmunds. The role will require supporting tenants across the Newtide and Samphire Homes operational areas.

The role comes with Agile Working and Flexible Working will be considered.


In this job role as a Safe Communities Coordinator, you will be directly supporting our purpose of creating sustainable communities.

You'll help tenants to feel safer in their homes when experiencing issues such as anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse.

Supporting and assisting the Safe Communities team with case management work and administration, ensuring the service delivery is in line with policy, procedure and our service standards.

You'll often be the first point of contact for tenants and victims. You'll manage and triage new reports of anti-social behaviour, dealing with these quickly and efficiently, providing a victim-focused service. You'll complete victim risk assessments and record details of incidents. Set up new cases and assist the team with additional victim care where required.

You'll ensure safeguarding is considered throughout all aspects of your work, following the process, reporting concerns as soon as they arise.

From time to time, you may also accompany the team in the community such as at engagement events.

You'll will support the management team including arranging and attending meetings to take notes and helping with project work. Working collaboratively with the other Safe Communities Coordinators to ensure tenants receive the right response.

A highly organised individual with excellent customer service and communication skills, patience, and empathy.

You'll easily be able to build rapport especially as you'll be working with some of our most vulnerable tenants during difficult times.

You will need to be able to be collaborative, flexible and have a can-do attitude.

This is a great entry role for someone interested in Housing/ASB. It would suit someone with a strong customer service background or graduate looking to get into housing.
