Ferndown, Dorset, United Kingdom Aster Group Full time
Are you looking for an apprenticeship in a trade career? Why not consider becoming an Apprentice Painter & Decorator?

We are looking to find the right person to join our Dorset team as an Apprentice Painter & Decorator.

You'll be locally based to Ferndown so that you can get yourself to and from work and you'll see yourself as someone that will really shine in this role.

You'll undertake the Level 2 Painter & Decorator apprenticeship, working with the team out and about in our communities to practice your skills and with our training provider to learn all the technical elements of the role.

The qualification will take up to 36 months to complete.

By the end of the qualification you'll know more about decorating than you could ever believe and you'll ensure that you have a skill set that will stay with you for life.

About you
You will already hold your Maths and English GCSE's or equivalent and you'll be happy to continue learning.

The qualification will set you up with all the skills you need to be a brilliant painter and decorator and you'll need to ensure that you match this with the enthusiasm required for the role.

You will be someone who likes to roll their sleeves up and get the job done, but you'll be mindful that preparation is very important and you'll be very aware of all your learning opportunities during the day.

You'll have your phone to hand to take pictures of the work you complete, building your portfolio as you go and you'll understand the responsibility of recording all your learning hours.

If you currently don't have your driving licence, you'll be happy to work towards it during your apprenticeship.
