Reporting to the VP Marketing, you will be the bridge between Product, Commercial, Operations and Marketing teams in supporting the execution of marketing strategies across our product, services, and integration portfolio.

We are looking for a motivated individual that works well across departments to create collaborative, cohesive and targeted product marketing.

You will be a key project manager from within the Marketing team to help ensure product launches and releases are optimised and build brand awareness and lead generation from end-to-end with both direct sales and partner teams. You will also be proactive in ensuring company image, positioning and strategic objectives of our portfolio are on-brand across any outward facing channels.

The right candidate has a technical background and ambition to grow within the company. You will be able to adapt to new projects and absorb the industry and product knowledge to lead marketing campaign ideation and project scope as you hit the ground running. Some of your previous job titles may include Product or Marketing Assistant, Product Marketing Specialist, Marketing Executive, Brand Marketing Assistant or Product Marketing Analyst.

Some of the upcoming projects we have, and that you will be working on, include but are not limited to: product videos, sales enablement materials, product brochures and explainers, go to market strategies, newsletters and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Work across several aspects of the marketing funnel and customer retention materials – from branding and positioning to go to market strategies, campaigns, events and communications.
  • Work closely with Product and Commercial teams to create key messaging and value propositions for our product, services and integration portfolio.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to create product marketing related campaigns and programmes.
  • Create marketing campaigns and programmes that articulate the benefits and use cases of our products to drive qualified leads as well as engage and support customers and our internal stakeholders (e.g., product videos, website and landing page copy, sales enablement collateral, presentations etc.).
  • Help in the reporting and analysis of campaigns to improve our marketing performance.
  • Conduct market analysis to obtain understanding of the competitive landscape and help manage content for products while planning and creating marketing campaigns.
  • Create user personas from competitor and industry research for key products to enrich our messaging and relevance.
  • Monitor and manage marketing requirements, brand guidelines and approval processes when working with external partners and third parties.
  • Work closely with our internal Design team to enhance and maintain the emerchantpay brand across all campaign materials.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of product marketing, product management or digital marketing experience, preferably in the Fintech industry.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to turn complex product knowledge into creative, relevant messaging both internally and externally.
  • Strong campaign, project and reporting management skills.
  • Excellent briefing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of executing successful product launches.
  • Ability to work very well in a collaborative, cross-department capacity while being able to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Able to think strategically, recognise and act on opportunities as they arise in a proactive manner.
  • Data-driven and analytical with proven ability to prioritise, drive and achieve results for yourself and others to project deadlines.
  • Understanding of Salesforce, Wordpress, HubSpot and the Microsoft Office suite.
