Role DescriptionnKantar Media is a global leader in media research.

This includes audience measurement - reporting all viewing on all platforms, consumer profiling and targeting with TGI, and in-depth advertising intelligence.

Kantar Media is seeking a Lead Software Developer who is looking to take on more of a management role, with at least 5 years experience.

Working closely with the Technical Lead Director, your responsibilities will be the following:

Role Responsibilities:

nSupport the development team in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of Data Integration applicationnOverseeing all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery.nKeep up to date with the latest development software.nHire and train new developers.nProvide mentorship to the team and ensure they enforce to development standards.nEnsure adequate documentation exists.nBuild alliance and work with other partner pillars within Kantar for a shared goal.

nSupport a team of 15-20 vendor team

RequirednEssential:

nExperience in the data processing applicationsnPractical production experience in software implementationnExperience working with high-level sophisticated problem definition using algorithms.nGood social skillsnExperience working in a distributed team.

nBackground in software development or in a hands-on technical role

Desirable:
nSpark data processingnCloud technologies – Azure, DataBricks, KubernetesnSoftware Architectural skillsnDevOpsnAgile / Scrum certified.
