Sales Executive

ODS is a new kind of business and we have an ambitious growth plan over the next three years.
At ODS you will be part of a small commercial team helping us to win new business and develop long term relationships with a range of like-minded organisations.
We are seeking an ambitious sales executive with a track record of working with customers to build long term business relationships with ODS.
You will ideally worked in either the commercial waste or construction industry but more importantly will have atrack record of winning and increasing business revenue year on year.
You will have good written and verbal communication skills and be highly organised.
We will also also consider applicants who have limited sales experience but who can demonstrate a commitment to our values and the ambition to develop in this role.
The role will:
Manage the sales cycle from prospecting, initial customer engagement to closed sales and contracting through service delivery, by establishing a trusted advisor relationship.
Seek out, identify and develop waste and other new profitable revenue streams through the development of positive business relationships that result in leads becoming future customers.
Develop and maintain territory plans as a team based on profitability assessments which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis and meet sales revenue and profitability targets
Maintain ongoing relationships with key clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
Recommending opportunities to clients to deliver better outcomes, service improvements, carbon reduction and social value targets through working with ODS.
Promotion of new product/ service option- Researching and recommending new opportunities, including organising site visits, events, seminars based on the clients own objectives that could be services by ODS
Develop and articulate compelling value proposition to prospects in proposals, responses and presentations by phone or video conference to senior managers, directors, and decision makers.
Use Waste Management sales productivity software tools accurately and consistently to provide sales forecasts. Use CRM to record contact information updates, bring forward reminders for contact, issue newsletters and useful guides. Ensure client informationis kept up to date with all key contacts listed.
Support other sales team members on larger opportunities, research to support tenders and intel on competitors seeking to win current clients.
