Your primary role will involve driving the development and execution of on-site solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across the UK and Europe.

We're seeking an individual with a keen understanding of the solar PV market and a talent for shepherding projects from inception to fruition.


Responsibilities:

nIdentify and evaluate on-site solar PV project opportunities within the UK and one additional international market (select from Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands).nConduct thorough feasibility studies, site assessments, and due diligence to assess project viability and potential risks.nPerform financial modelling and scenario analysis for individual projects and across project portfolios.nDevelop comprehensive project plans, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource needs.nCollaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and permits.nNegotiate roof leases, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and other contractual arrangements with property owners and occupants.nOversee project finances, including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial modeling to gain investor approval.nLiaise with internal design/engineering and procurement teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.nFacilitate the handover of projects to the delivery organization for construction.nStay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to inform project strategies and decision-making.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related field.nA minimum of 3 years' experience in on-site solar PV project development, with a solid understanding of the UK solar PV market and expertise in at least one additional country from the specified list.nDemonstrated success in developing and delivering on-site solar PV projects from inception to completion.nFamiliarity with relevant regulations, permitting processes, and incentive programs related to solar PV development.nStrong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.nExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.nProficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.nCapacity to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a team.nComfortable making decisions in ambiguous situations with available information.
