Theatre Practice Educator

To work with and support the Practice Development Lead (PDL) for Theatres, assisting in the development of theatre practice in line with service delivery and the strategic plans for the division and the Trust.

The post holder will be expected to support the PDL in ensuring the quality of patient care is optimised with effective evidence-based Theatre standards and policies.

The role will involve assisting with regular training needs analysis across all the theatre suites and assisting to implement, produce and review practice development programmes for theatre practitioners of all grades.

They will be responsible for research and audit projects as directed and identified by the senior team, in conjunction, with the Practice Development Lead.


The Practice Educator will also support the PDL in managing Theatre Practitioners and financial resources related to training and development, to ensure theatre are run efficiently and effectively.
