The Conveyancing Executive will be responsible for:

· Running a caseload of Residential and Commercial Property files.

Key Tasks:

1. Managing your own caseload of conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases and re-mortgaging files from initial instruction to post completion.

2. Progressing your caseload in a manner to ensure that clients receive appropriate, professional, timely and pertinent legal advice, with regular contact, whilst managing their expectations.

3. Ensuring proper control of work in progress, billing and cash collection.

4. Drafting and preparation of contracts and documents.

5. Liaising and building relationships with estate agents, mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers.

6. To undertake self-development and comply with relevant training requirements by the Law Society and in-house training when required.

7. Undertaking other duties reasonably required by partners or senior management.

Person Specification:

· Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.

· 5 years' experience in handling Conveyancing matters from start to finish.

· Ability to deal with a mixed caseload of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, mortgages, and transfer of equity both registered and unregistered titles.

· Excellent organisational skills with impeccable attention to detail.

· Have proven IT skills and ability to adapt new technology.

· Excellent communication skills including oral and written presentation skills.

· The ability to provide a high level of client care.

· Proficient with Proclaim Case Management, although training will be provided.

· Self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team with a 'can do' attitude.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment.

· Methodical approach to tasks and problem solving.
