We are a luxury homewares company seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a driver's mate.

As a driver's mate, you will assist our drivers with the delivery and installation of our products to our valued customers across the UK.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to continue their career in the logistics industry and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.


What you are going to do:

  • Working 22.5 hours in a flexible capacity over Monday to Sunday, supporting Delivery Drivers in the transportation of 2 man deliveries of Rowen products locally and nationally
  • Loading and unloading all orders
  • Using route planner to map out your day
  • Contacting customers confirming your ETAs
  • Take photographs of delivered goods
  • Receive, check and store goods
  • Check all received goods are accounted for and that any damages are escalated
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety and System Operating Procedures
  • Contribute ideas towards time efficiencies
  • Be mindful of sustainability and reuse of materials

What you are going to need:

  • Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Be personable and professional at all times
  • Able to lift furniture safely and securely and able to get in and out of a van quickly and safely throughout the day
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
  • Thinking and reasoning skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • A positive mindset
  • Being open to change
  • Problem solving abilities
