Role Overview: As a Bid Manager, you will play a key role in business development efforts, leading the tender process for structural new build warehouse projects. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process to secure new business opportunities.Key Responsibilities: Lead the tender process for structural new build warehouse projects, from pre-qualification to bid submissionCollaborate with internal teams, including estimating, design, and construction, to develop competitive bid proposalsConduct thorough reviews of tender documentation, identifying requirements and risksCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to gather information and pricing for bidsPrepare high-quality bid submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client requirementsPresent bid proposals to senior management for review and approvalMaintain bid documentation and records, including tracking of tender opportunities and outcomesMonitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement and innovationRequirements: Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on structural new build warehousesStrong knowledge of the tender process, including pre-qualification, bid preparation, and submissionProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and bid management softwareBenefits: Opportunities for career development and progression within a growing companySupportive and collaborative work environmentHealth and wellness benefitsPension scheme
