£12.50 per hour Umbrella or £11 per hour PAYE inclusive of holidaypay

Hours / Working Days:37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a chaperone service to contractors working on site.
  • This will involve being a constant presence with contractors
  • Reminding patients and staff that work is being undertaken
  • Reminding contractors to keep tools safe and away from patients
  • Alerting the ward staff to potential concerns if patient is becoming aggressive/interferring with the contractors undertaking work.
  • Awareness of risks including ligatures on the ward

SKILLS/EXP REQUIRED:

  • Experience of working on an inpatient mental health ward and PMVA (or equivalent) trained
  • Knowledge of risks on inpatient mental health wards
