As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Design Department's operations, ensuring compliance with strict regulated standards for critical components, and leading a team to achieve business targets. Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Proposals Teams on new projects and ensure smooth handovers to the Design Team
  • Set and achieve Team KPIs
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and efficiencies within the team
  • Participate in key client reviews and meetings
  • Identify training and development opportunities
  • Ensure HSE compliance and improvement activities
  • Allocate daily tasks and prioritize work within the team
  • Manage standard product and Make to Order (MTO) specials
  • Coordinate with Technical Manager on new product development
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of design activities
  • Implement Design for Manufacture principles
  • Develop and maintain department work instructions and procedures
