Tasks and responsibilities:


Activity Leaders work up to 48 hours a week over six days delivering a range of activities and excursions international students aged 10 to 1- Liaising with the School Director to ensure the smooth running of all activities/excursions.


  • Ensuring the efficient, professional, and safe operation of activities.
  • Adhering to the Company's safeguarding, welfare and supervision ratio policies and procedures.
  • Making sure students are in the right place at the right time.
  • Monitoring and checking student attendance on activity programme ensuring registers, signin/signout sheets and risk assessments are accurate and used at each session.
  • Supervising students during mealtimes and breaktimes.
  • Pastoral duties.

Person Specification:

Essential
Over 18 years old.

Eligibility to work in the UK.

Maturity, enthusiasm, and motivational skills.

Confidence in managing groups of children/teenagers to ensure proper levels of student discipline and welfare.

Able to deal with unexpected or last-minute changes in a calm, positive and professional manner.

Desirable
Experience of working in a summer school environment.

Experience of organising sports and/or activities

Holds a first aid qualification.

Other relevant skills such as coaching in sports, drama or dance.
