It's exciting times for AXA here in Middleborough as we embark on creating a new team to support our Customers with their First Notification of Loss Motor Claims.

We take pride in our work and our purpose is to make our customers lives easier therefore it's important that we get our customers claim right the first time and provide excellent service from logging to settling the claim.


We live the customer everyday so you will be the first point of contact for our customers who have been involved in a motor incident, your priority will be to ensure our customers are okay.

Following this you'll make it happen by being simple and fast in proactively recording their claim in accordance with our concepts and procedures.


At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.


Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week.

We have a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 5pm approximately one Saturday per month, including some Bank Holidays but we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.


Induction & Training:

Induction Date: 26 June 2023


You'll receive a comprehensive onsite induction from our specialist trainers to set you up for success in your new role, which will last 4 weeks.

When you join us you will join an academy that will give you eight weeks dedicated training to ensure you are fully supported in your new role.


Providing a Career Development Framework that is reviewed every six months for two years with your manager, giving you clear career progression.

Full training and support you need to make a difference, no matter the stage of your career.

Once you're up to speed in your new job, there's also the chance to study for a professional Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII) qualification, paid for and supported by AXA.


What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service by providing relevant and accurate information to every customer based on your professional expertise and training.
  • Use your initiative as well as information resources available to provide the best outcome for the customer.
  • Responding to our customers when they call in to report a new motor claim, capturing the details with high quality and in a timely manner, instructing the appropriate service providers and managing next steps of the claim journey.
  • Utilise strong attention to detail, remaining calm in the face of challenge to effectively help customers when they need us the most.

Qualifications:

What we're looking for:

  • You'll have a natural talent for connecting with people, quick problemsolving ability, and positive, cando attitude.
  • You're a great listener, confident communicating over the phone and using computers.
  • Good knowledge of driving is advantageous.


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
