Job description
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Administration Apprentice to give their support to the Prevention Team in a busy and dynamic work environment.
- Assist with routine administrative systems and procedures that support the operation of working within the team. Including general office duties, to provide a frontline customer service and resolving general enquiries.
- Organise, process and facilitate the bookings of meetings and events in liaison with other relevant officers and outside agencies / bodies and take minutes /notes as required, reproduce and recirculate them in a format that is easily understood.
- Send out routine communications, issue reminders and chase responses.
- Undertake a range of routine tasks specific to the service area, prioritising them as directed and working within approved procedures.
- Undertake routine financial processes including checking stock level and raising orders/requisitions in accordance with approved procedures.
- Collate, record, store and retrieve data and information as required.
- Interact professionally when dealing with colleagues and customers.
You will need to:
- Be comfortable talking to people and ask them questions
- Think logically but also be creative with solutions
- Be able to work as part of a team with a variety of different people
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Have a full driving licence and access to a car.
