This is an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources (HR) team to begin, or develop, a career within Local Government at a forward thinking and proactive Council.
In this level 3 apprenticeship role, you will work in the HR team providing a customer focused service to our employees.
To thrive in this role, you should have a strong desire to learn and develop and have a positive can-do attitude.
You will support the HR team in the recruitment process from advertising a vacancy through to a new employee joining the Council and you will also work with payroll and carry out general administration tasks including being involved in our corporate induction event and promoting wellbeing initiatives.
We require someone who has:

- An interest in people and their employment journey

- An adaptable approach to work
- A desire to work as part of a team

You don't need any previous work experience; however, you will need to be willing to learn and demonstrate good interpersonal, communication and IT skills together with GCSE's 9 to 4 (formally A*-C) in Maths, English and ICT or equivalent.
