School caretaker

School Caretaker wanted - School/Education experience preferred but not essential

Location: Liverpool

One of our schools in the Liverpool area is looking for a Caretaker on a full time basis temporarily. If you enjoy ensuring sites are clean and secure and want to help students have the best environment possible, then apply now

PLEASE NOTE: You must have an Enhanced DBS for this role, if you do not have one you will asked to pay for one before starting any work with us

Responsibilities:

• Leading on Site Security and ensuring all buildings are secured properly each day
• Carry out general maintenance checks , including cleaning and minor repairs as needed
• Perform security checks to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of school events and activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lock up or open the school securely depending on agreed shift pattern

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Caretaker or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills, experience as a Handyperson or trades person is highly desirable
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
